Singularity and Brahman
But
philosophically, as per Hindu rationality, Brahman is a concept of Advaita
(One, single, singular, sole and only) Vedanta that describes a single reality.
This reality is attribute less, shapeless, colourless and only the reality of
the universe. The concept of Brahman is transcendental and without Brahman
nothing exists.
Shanker
Acharya described Brahman as the stem of the only reality and it is neuter
gender and only the ultimate reality. The Brahman is the singularity and there
is no duality except Brahman, Brahman is translated as the universe, the cosmos
the one and only reality. Shanker while building the oneness philosophy on
Hindu soil cleared that there is nothing except Brahman and the only reality.
Shanker
established the marvellous Hindu philosophy of single reality in metaphysics
move ahead and described creation though the concept of Maya (illusion). The
Maya is the power of Brahman and that Maya created the universe, the world
which is illusion till the real Brahman is not understood.
Unfortunately,
religious minds forget that Shanker had distinguish the concept of singularity
of Brahman from the concept of god and therefore the real concept of oneness,
shapeless and attribute less, tasteless, smell less has been forgotten. For
Shanker the god is as real as the illusion and as soon as one come out of Maya,
the illusion, the concept of god vanish as like of dream. The Brahman is the
singularity and the only truth.
In
recent Astronomy, the theory of Big Bang came out and claimed that the universe
emerged from a singularity and the creation started. The singularity is beyond
time, place and attribute. The phenomena of creation of plurality are from singularity
and there is a simulation hypothesis of this creation.
It
is unfortunate that there is no research on the concept of Hindu rationality described
in Indian philosophy.
