Hindu Philosophy- A Rational Life

    When Tsunami hit the Sumatra, island of Indonesia in 2004, residents of that place become more religious as they felt that the Almighty is testing them and as they failed in their regular prayers, therefore God punished them. When Coronavirus hit the world, in India, people poured down in temples and in dargahs seeking blessings of Almighty. Those who recovered from Coronavirus in hospitals, they declared on social media that God saved them. When the second unlock started in India in 2022, people were not talking about the science or biotechnology or saving environment but only about worshiping god. People were not seen helping poor but offering sweets and fruits in temples. Religion is not bad but blind faith is completely depraved. The world at present is facing global warming, melting of ice on both the poles of the globe, spreading of different viruses, increase of carbon emission and decrease of food supply to the world population and breaking of food chain but people are

Clear thinking and right action was the base of Hindu philosophy and knowledge was the only tool which helped liberation from suffering and pain. Philosophy schools progressively advanced on the theory of right conduct and right action and this concept shaped as religion for Hindu race to make their lives better because they had clear thinking about the concept of god.   At present, India is developing but without attitude of reasoning, the neo-  Hindu religion is making this race spiritually miserable. People are now feeding cows on roads to search peace and worshiping thousands of gods at a time to have showers of blessings. Philosophical attitude of this race has lost in the dust and thus luck and superstitions replaced the concept of karma.   There was no crusade and no religious battle in Hindu race, there was no missionary or ecstasy of spreading god’s kingdom on earth. Life was simple. Right action and conduct was only source of good life and knowledge leads to liberation

The most heinous and irrational and illogical incidents I encountered during my coverage is treatment of new born and small children through branding with hot iron. Many of the children died and many suffered.   It is not that government or hospitals are not doing anything but this is largely practised in the remote and rural villages of Bhilwara, Rajasmand, Tonk, Ajmer and Pali districts of the state. Kudiya Kalan is a village of Rajasmand district- in 2019- I got the news that a three month old girl was branded with hot iron and was later taken to Mahatma Gandhi Government hospital of Bhilwara. The child was in critical condition. The child was having symptoms of Pneumonia and parents took the child to tantric rather than to hospital.   In the year 2019 alone, I encountered 9 such cases where children were branded with hot iron to treat them in Bhilwara district.   I talked to the father of three month old girl child, Bharo lal of Kudiya Kalan village.
