Fighting science through religion in India
When Tsunami hit the Sumatra, island of Indonesia in 2004, residents of that place become more religious as they felt that the Almighty is testing them and as they failed in their regular prayers, therefore God punished them. When Coronavirus hit the world, in India, people poured down in temples and in dargahs seeking blessings of Almighty. Those who recovered from Coronavirus in hospitals, they declared on social media that God saved them. When the second unlock started in India in 2022, people were not talking about the science or biotechnology or saving environment but only about worshiping god. People were not seen helping poor but offering sweets and fruits in temples. Religion is not bad but blind faith is completely depraved.
