Is travelling in past and future possible?

 Travelling in time, from one point of time to another is the most fascinating topic of science fiction from last one century. A vehicle called machine in which we can sit and ready for adventures in the past and able to see dinosaurs or travelling in future and to see over great-great grandchildren and lives on other exoplanets.
It was H.G. Wells who gave a novel based on science fiction the ‘Time Machine’ in which Wells opened the idea of time travel in a machine and then there were movies and serials or comics on time travelling. And there were different paradoxes related to time travel and theories of warm hole in a fabric of time in which one can move from one place of time to another. And these theories also forced theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking to think on travelling backward and forward in time and then he reached on conclusion that time travel is not at all possible.
Generally, the perspective of Albert Einstein that advanced the theory of relativity of time and space and therefore Einstein cleared that space and time are one and thus nothing can travel faster than speed of light. The matrix of Einstein bound all scientists that no one can travel faster than light and time travel is therefore not possible.
 Who travel in time?
But who travel in time, it is not the body or particles or matter that is travelling in time. A man when a boy, is totally different, then when he is young, and similarly, totally changed when he is old, in term of physical. The cell or matter or the body of myself is totally different and the cells which I had in my body changed to new cells when I am young and again the cells and my body is changed when I grow old. Therefore particles and matter or my body is not travelling in same time and in same space and therefore it is not possible for the different particles to travel in past or in future, because the participles in my body have no past and no future.
Then who travel in our past and who will travel in our future, It is our consciousness which remain same when we are born, or we are boy or young or when we grow old. An old man can remember his childhood because he possess same consciousness and therefore he remember his young days, and remember his young body which left him far behind. The consciousness travel in space and time and throughout one’s life but not the body and matter and proves that Einstein is right that particles or matter cannot travel more than the speed of light in the space.
 
And, if consciousness travel throughout one’s life then can it be possible for a consciousness to travel back in past or in future even with the speed of light or more than a speed of light. It is not possible, that my body sitting in New Delhi can travel to New York within a fraction of a second or in a minute because it violates the theory of relativity of time and space of Einstein.
 
Consciousness travel faster than light
But it is possible for my consciousness that it can reach to New York from New Delhi within fraction of second and unable to follow the theory of relativity of space and time. I, while sitting in New Delhi, physically, can think and feel, walking at Jones Street, Manhattan of New York. For me, it is possible that sitting in the heat of Thar desert in India physically but consciously enjoying the cold of Switzerland. My consciousness can travel even faster than light in space and time and proving that consciousness is having faster speed than light.
There are incidents when science unable to explain theories and such incidents become mystery and fantasies for most of them when they found that some hundred years old saint living in the harsh cold of Himalayas without eating food from many years but his body remain warm and he feel healthy even without eating food for years. This is called mystery and scientists wanted to experiment such saints and unable to explain them.
 
Consciousness travel in past & future
And there are incidents, mostly everywhere but if we talk about India, then people are talking in different languages and remembering some place where they have not traveled. They narrate some stories which were verified as true and thus when science unable to understand such phenomena they are put in the shelf of paranormal experiences. Such incidents can be the science of travelling of consciousness from one place to another but we commonly people took it is ghost stories or sciences took it as abnormality of brain functions or psychological disturbances.
 And there are incidents, people generally share, that they saw what is going to be in future. Usually, people talk that they knew already that such person is going to meet in coming days, or such incident is going to take place. They were already aware about an incident or accident and science to not have explanation of such phenomena but here the consciousness travelled in future and not the body and therefore consciousness knew what is going to happen in coming days.
 Consciousness is energy
Broadly, sciences fasten to matter, (though quantum physics is coming rapidly to understand that everything in this universe is energy and no matter) and therefore the science of consciousness is left unattended. If, consciousness is taken as the product of body, then too, there should be study of consciousness as energy and not as an orthodox soul or Atman.
Unfortunately, we are unable to study the Indian philosophical treasures in a right direction for the acumen of Human races but usually we took such philosophical thoughts as waste or something as a literary work. If, one can go through the studies of Indian and Buddhist philosophy they it emerge as an science of energy and the energy of consciousness is literary taken only as a soul or atman. But see the beauty of Vasubandu in Vignaptimatra Siddhi (Principles of faculty of consciousness) where the consciousness is taken as pure energy and having inherent power. This energy- consciousness- have potential attribute and have force to perform modification and that modification is explain in threefold way.  The first is the store house of consciousness which is universal consciousness. There is no bondage or limit to this universal consciousness to think and experienced the unlimited space. The matter has to travel from one point of space to the other point of space but when the matter travel it changes with the time and changes in the attribute and energy.
The matter is bound to follow the law of motion of Newton that every object moves in a straight line unless acted upon by a force but for consciousness- the energy- there is no need of force to move only in straight line. The matter, again, accelerate directly proportional to the net force exerted and inversely proportional to the mass of the object but for consciousness- the energy, the second law cannot force the acceleration and thus equal and opposite reaction for matter is also not applicable for the energy of consciousness.
 
Space & consciousness are eternal and infinite
And When Jainism came out with a beautiful theory of infinite and eternal and imperceptible and condition of extension, it include both the space and jiva- the consciousness. Jainism says that space itself is not extension but it is the locus of extension and there are two kinds of spaces in the first, motion is possible and contains all worlds where life and movement are possible while the other space is of liberated energy of consciousness. Matter does not have consciousness and atom is the smallest part of matter which cannot be further divided and matter possesses the qualities. Such philosophical thoughts, never ever denied the presence of matter but also boldly announced the energy which is called as consciousness and this consciousness, unfortunately, taken only as soul or atman and rejected it by science.
 
Consciousness is force
Rig Veda in chapter X, 16 stated Suryam Kakshuh gakhatu Vatam ataman (Eyes to sun, breathe to wind) here breath is taken as self, atman and consciousness. The breathe is self and is free as wind and if men died, the self, the breath, which is consciousness is free, as free as wind and in some texts it is parana, the life, and Apastamba Sutras- 1, 8, 23 said that the Brahman (universal self) is wise and recognizes all things to be the self who does not become bewildered when pondering on it.  Now Upnishads describing consciousness, (which is generally taken as soul or ataman and rejected as useless)-  “Consciousness means pervades all, which is the subject and which knows, experiences and illuminated objects and which remains immortal  and always the same,” Katha Upnisad, 2,1,1.
 
Need to study
 Practically, at present, our education system is studying and also providing training to our physical body and mental logical power to develop the human race but unfortunately the energy of consciousness is not so much studied to find the new dimension of life. Though, some studies like psychology emerged to understand the human nature and there are some unrecognized sciences like hypnotism, that heal human soul by taking the consciousness in the past where the consciousness is attached with some incidents. The time travelling is possible for consciousness and therefore   there should be some scientific or rational way of studies that can understand the energy of consciousness.
David Hume said, “There are some philosophers who imagine, we are every moment intimately conscious of what we call our self, that we feel its existence and its continuance in existence,-- for my part, when I enter most intimately into what I call myself, I always stumble on some particular perception or other of hear of cold, light or shade, love or hatred, pain or pleasure, In ever can catch myself at anytime without a perception and never can observe anything but the perception.”
